Auntie Mel

Here's Auntie Mel with the boys. On Mondays when I work, Grandma usually cooks dinner for all of us and then Mel comes over to join us for dinner when she gets done with work.

Here's an attempt at taking a picture with Mel and all four of the kids.

Art on Monday

Here's the boys in their Halloween shirts that they made with Grammie on Monday for art this week. I have asked Grammie if she could be in charge of art this year for homeschool. We usually do school Tuesday through Friday (on the days that I don't work).

Grammie's Birthday Celebration!

Here's a picture of Grammie & Owen blowing out all 53 candles on her cake.

Here's a picture of the delicious cake that Melanie and Michele made for her birthday. We celebrated her birthday on Sunday because Grandpa was here for a visit this weekend. Her real birthday is not until this Friday, October 23rd.

Grammie and Grandpa. (In case you are wondering, Grammie is holding an invention that Russell made for her).

Rainbow Wednesdays

Deals at Rainbow Foods!

Only $25.14!!!

Did you know that Rainbow Food Stores have double coupons on Wednesdays? They double the first 5 coupons that you have up to $1.00 each (for an extra $5.00 off). You have to spend $25.00 before the coupons are applied. Look at what we got yesterday for only $25.14!!!

For more information on deals at Rainbow and other stores in our area check out this website Sarah suggested to me http://www.pocketyourdollars.com/. It also lists the coupon policies at various stories as well.

While we were shopping, Vaunder was looking through Rainbow's ad for more deals. As he was looking he said, "Look Mom, they have orange milk on sale for $2.99" Needless to say, we never buy orange juice in the gallon containers.

Visiting the New Park

When I was growing up all this space was just fields used for growing corn and hay. Now couple of new developments have gone in around my parents' house and it looks much more like city living. This huge park with 2 large play structures and many ohter features has recently been built across from the golf course on Sand Acres Drive.

Vaunder playing on the spider web.

Addie enjoying the swings.

Playing at Grandpa & Grandma's House

The Wedding

My friend, Nicole, watched Addison while the rest of us attended the wedding at the church. Here's a picture of my cousin Nick and his bride Krystal.

Traveling to the Wisconsin Wedding

This past weekend, Vaunder, Russell, Owen, Addison, & I traveled to Wisconsin with my brother, Luke, to attend our cousin's wedding. Luke just starting working for James Hardie http://www.jameshardie.com/

Besides the new truck, another one of the perks with his new job is free gas even for personnal trips. The boys loved riding in Uncle Luke's truck. Addison on the other hand is still not very fond of trips that take over 1 hour.
Thanks Luke for driving!

Current Pictures

Here's Russell and Grammie in our backyard.

Here's Owen with his new "Elmo" pajamas. Thanks Grandma! He would wear them every night if I would let him!

Here's Addison with her bag from Grandma and her boots from Grandpa. Lately, she has been very interested in loading up purses and bags, walking around with them, and then unloading them.

Here's Vaunder practicing his piano.

Playing in the Backyard

A couple of weeks ago the boys were out playing in the backyard with a pile of lumber. When I looked out the upstairs window, this is what I saw. I asked them what they were doing and Vaunder responded by saying, "Playing Jesus." Next, I heard him ask his brothers, "Who wants to be Jesus?"
