Friday Night Rain Storm

Here's what the street in front of our house looked like on Friday night during the rainstorm. As you can see from the pictures the water came up to the bottom of the step.

An hour or so after the rain stopped, most of the water had receded.

Earlier this week, Russell lost his first tooth.
As you can see he has a tooth coming in behind it that was pushing the tooth out.

Swimming at the Wading Pool

Addie after just getting into the water. The weather was really warm the day we went to the wading pool, but the water was still a little chilly (for me anyway).

First Real Playdate!!!

With all three boys at Vacation Bible School this week, Addison got to have her first real playdate with a friend her age. Here she is with her friend, Olivia, driving cars on the back patio.

This is what Addie does when you say "cheese" or "smile" lately.

More Camping Pictures

Eating pretzels by the fire.

The view from our campsite at dusk. If we walked down a little path we were right by the water.
Unfortunately, it started raining about 6:00 am on Tuesday and continued raining throughout the morning. After putting up a little shelter with a tarp over our picnic table we decided to take a drive and listen to the weather forcast. Since the rain was suppose to continue throughout the day and into the night we decided to pack up and go home early :-(
It was probably a good thing that we decided to go home, because as we were packing up we discovered that our sleeping bags and pillows had gotten wet.

C A M P I N G ! ! !

On Monday, we went camping at Father Hennipen State Park. We arrived around 5:00 pm and got to pick our site (since less than half the campground was full).

After we got done setting up, Jon cooked our dinner over the fire.

The kiddos in front of the tent.

Relaxing by the fire.
Yes, we even brought Franklin.
He did quite well since there were no campers around us.
